Tanya Friberg with GLAS™ AI Mirror at The Finerie, Seattle

Tanya Friberg, Owner of The Finerie, with Spring AI's GLAS™ AI Mirror in her Seattle showroom — where fashion and interior design share the same floor.

A Seattle Boutique Now Curates Your Closet and Your Home — With AI

The Finerie, Seattle's destination where fashion meets interior design, has introduced GLAS™ — an AI mirror that lets clients see themselves wearing an entire curated lifestyle in a single portrait, from the jacket on their back to the chandelier above their head.

SEATTLE, WA — For twenty years, Tanya Friberg has been building something Seattle has never quite seen before. The Finerie, her boutique on Western Avenue in Downtown Seattle, is a space where a perfectly curated outfit and a hand-selected piece of furniture occupy the same room, the same conversation, and increasingly, the same client's home. Her vision has always been simple: help someone see the whole picture of their lifestyle, their space, and their style — all at once.

Now she has a new way of showing it. And it's not a conventional mirror.

The Finerie has introduced the GLAS™ AI Mirror — a 32-inch 4K touchscreen powered by Spring AI, a Dallas-based, woman-owned artificial intelligence company — to its showroom floor. In seconds, a client steps up, selects a look, and receives a photorealistic AI portrait of themselves styled head to toe in The Finerie's collection: the jacket, the trousers, the bag, the shoes — and the rug beneath their feet, the sofa they're seated on, the artwork on the wall behind them, the lamp in the corner, the chandelier above, the chair beside them. Ten products. One portrait. One complete vision of a life beautifully designed.

The Store That Curates Everything

Fashion. Furniture. Art.
All in One Portrait.

The Finerie has operated at the intersection of apparel and interior design since Tanya opened its doors in 2006 at Harbor Steps in Downtown Seattle. It is a single space where a client can find the perfect blazer and a beautiful Swedish chair — and where the relationship between the two is part of the conversation from the moment they walk in.

Working with fashion and design brands from the USA, Europe, and beyond, The Finerie's fashion floor carries curated designer collections for men and women, while the Finerie Style Studio design showroom features upholstered furniture, area rugs, lighting, and original artwork. For twenty years, the joy of the business has been helping clients see how it all belongs together. GLAS™ now makes that vision instantaneous.

For the first time, a client at The Finerie can see themselves not just wearing an outfit — but inhabiting a fully designed room, surrounded by the furniture and art they're considering. The portrait is delivered to their phone by QR code or email. It's theirs to share, to return to, and to buy from.

GLAS™ AI portrait — 10-product look: fashion and Finerie interiors

A GLAS™ AI portrait at The Finerie — one portrait, multiple products: the outfit, the shoes, the rug, the sofa, the artwork, the lamp, and the vases.

"When someone can see themselves wearing the jacket, sitting in the chair, with the art on the wall behind them — that's not a shopping experience anymore. That's a vision of their life. And people want to buy a vision, not just an item."
— Tanya Friberg, Owner, The Finerie

The Group Experience

Multiple People. One Room.
One Portrait.

What separates GLAS™ from every other retail technology is something that has never existed in a fitting room before: the ability to style multiple people simultaneously in the same scene. A couple can step up together and see themselves dressed and seated in the same living room. Friends can see how their looks complement each other within the same designed space. A client and their partner can visualize whether the sofa they're considering works with the art they already own — while wearing the outfits they're thinking of buying.

At The Finerie, where the clientele often shops together — couples furnishing a home, friends refreshing a wardrobe, families building a shared aesthetic — this transforms the dynamic of the in-store experience. Shopping becomes collaborative. The decision becomes shared. The portrait becomes a memory before the purchase is even made.

The Designer Connection

From the Runway to the
Showroom Floor.

The Finerie's relationship with GLAS™ runs deeper than a single boutique adoption. It is part of a growing network of fashion innovators who have made Spring AI a cornerstone of how they create, present, and sell their work.

Carlton Jones — a fashion designer whose collection is stocked at The Finerie — is a Spring AI ambassador who has used GLAS™ across multiple runway shows and for his brand's lookbook productions. His resort-wear collection takes the GLAS™ experience to its most cinematic: clients trying on his pieces are posed in the sweeping landscape of the Grand Canyon or at a sun-drenched resort, transported into the world the collection was designed for. It is not a try-on. It is an invitation into a lifestyle.

Carlton Jones is also a designer represented at Crescala Collective — a permanent luxury showroom in New York City founded by Jodi Sandman and a Spring AI partner since August 2025. Crescala Collective became one of Spring AI's first retail ambassadors, integrating GLAS™ into its showroom experience and establishing the template for how luxury multi-brand retail environments can use AI portraiture to move clients from discovery to decision.

The result is a retail ecosystem where a client can discover a Carlton Jones look at Crescala Collective in New York, try it on at The Finerie in Seattle, or experience it at one of his runway activations — and in every environment, GLAS™ is the thread that makes the vision tangible.

What's Coming

Try It Before It Exists.
Pre-Order, Powered by AI.

In September 2026, The Finerie will debut its most forward-looking use of GLAS™ yet: pre-order only collections. Clients will be able to try on pieces — in full photorealistic AI portraits — before those pieces are produced or stocked. They fall in love with the look in the mirror. They place an order on the spot. Inventory is built from confirmed demand, not speculation.

A Shopify integration connecting GLAS™ directly to The Finerie's online store is coming soon in August 2026, enabling clients who discover a look in-store to purchase seamlessly online — and allowing remote clients to explore The Finerie's full collection from anywhere in the world.

For a boutique that has always been ahead of the curve — combining fashion and interiors before it was a trend, building relationships before they were a strategy — this is the natural next step. The Finerie is not adopting technology. It is redefining what a boutique can be.

Two Women. Two Businesses. One Vision.

Built by Women.
For the Future of Retail.

The partnership between The Finerie and Spring AI reflects something larger than a technology adoption. Both companies are woman-owned. Both were built from scratch. Both operate at the intersection of aesthetics and personal relationships in industries that have long underestimated what women build when they are given the tools to build it their way.

Spring AI was founded by Jabeen Zaidi, a Dallas-based product designer and AI builder who created GLAS™ to close the gap between the desire a product creates and the moment a customer decides to buy it. Crescala Collective was founded by Jodi Sandman, a New York-based retail innovator who recognized that luxury showrooms needed a more personal, more visual way to connect clients to the collections they carry. The Finerie was built by Tanya Friberg, who has spent twenty years proving that fashion and interior design belong in the same room. GLAS™ is the technology that makes all three visions visible at once.

"Jabeen is amazing to work with. The fact that we're both women building something we believe in — that matters to me. This isn't just technology. It's a shared vision of what retail can feel like."
— Tanya Friberg, Owner, The Finerie
